We would like to inform you that to obtain a Kuwait visa, you will need a sponsor/employer, if you are traveling to work. If you are visiting Kuwait for a holiday or tourism, your hotel can be your sponsor. Fax a few weeks before your stay to the Kuwaiti Embassy and make sure that the confirmation has been delivered and that your visa will be left at the point of entry before you leave the Kuwaiti territory and will be added a small fee to the hotel bill for this service In addition, your hotel may be able to get short extensions of your stay provided that You are sure of your itinerary during your stay and the hotel is responsible for you during your stay in the country. If you are working in Kuwait, your sponsor will usually arrange the necessary visas and permits for you.
Visit Visa
This visa is valid for three or six months and will be obtained from Kuwaiti embassies and consulates abroad upon arrival in Kuwait or through a Kuwaiti sponsor who will apply to the Ministry of Interior in Kuwait. When applying for Kuwaiti embassies and consulates, these are usually granted for the purpose of repeating business trips.
Residence visa
If you are working in Kuwait for a long time, you need a residency visa first. You must obtain a NOC issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor after applying by your sponsor. If you have made arrangements before entering, your next step is to send the NOC to the Ministry of Interior. If you arrive with a visitor visa, your sponsor will apply for a NOC. Upon receipt of this application, it will be submitted directly to the Ministry of Interior for a residence visa. With a no objection certificate (although this requirement is sometimes waived) your residence visa will be issued shortly and you are required to have a medical examination including the HIV / AIDS test and once you get a residence visa you will be issued a civil ID card for you and you should have it at all times, as in other Gulf countries, and your sponsor usually takes care of these administrative matters.
