A foreign worker must obtain appropriate work visas and permits in Malta and must have a local employer from within Malta in order to obtain a work permit if you are not a citizen of an EU country so you need a work permit in order to work in Malta. If you apply through your employer for a new work permit for a third country citizen, the process is as follows:

Unless a single permit application is submitted, the employer must complete the application form and send it to the Work Permits Unit by hand or by mail and the following documents must be submitted at the submission stage:

(A) Application form;

(B) Biography;

(C) Job description;

(D) Certificates;

(E) Passport copy;

It is recommended that you obtain a tourist visa to Malta to search for work during the validity of the visa.

Documents required to extract these documents include:

- passport .

Academic certificates

- Experience Certificates .

- Certificate of proficiency in one of the foreign languages.

- Certificate not to issue criminal judgments
