We would like to inform you that if your inquiry relates to your desire to resign because of the delay in paying your employer, the following information:
The UAE Labor Law grants the right to terminate the employment contract if the employer breaches the obligation stipulated in the employment contract. Therefore, you should first file a complaint at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and it will transfer the complaint to the Labor Court in order to issue a termination of the employment contract because of the breach of the obligations to pay salaries on the due dates. Also, if you submit your resignation directly without a complaint, you should pay compensation to the employer not more than a month and a half salary maximum.
Here is the text of the UAE labor law related to your inquiry:
Article (116):
Where a contract is revoked by the worker for reasons other than those stipulated in Article (121), he shall be required to compensate the employer for any damage the latter sustains as a result, provided that the amount of compensation shall not exceed half a month wage for three months or for the remaining period of the contract, whichever is shorter, unless otherwise stipulated in the contract.
Article (121):
 A worker may leave work without notice in one of the following cases:
1-    If the employer violates his obligations before the worker in the articles stipulated in the contract or the law.
2-    If the employer or his legal representative signs an assault on the worker.
