Lawyer's Assistant: Where are you located? It matters because laws vary by location
I need to ask you regarding gratuity settlement as our sponsor has terminated our contract on the basis of market situation and given us noc or release on the gaurantee that he will clear all our settlement. But since we left the company to search new employment he is either ignoring us or when we call him from unknown number he says he will pay but nothing is coming out. What we should do in this condition

Not yet. If you mean to Ministry of manpower because he says he has good sources in government

If incase we find a new employment and get our visa changed will he be free from our settlement without paying us or even in that case we can approach to any court as he has already sign our settlement paper but not giving us our right

We would like to inform you that according to the Omani Labor Law, for the end of services benefits, the employer shall pay the benefits within 10 days after the work termination. If the employer was arbitrary and didn’t pay, then you can go to the labor office and explain the details to them, if they can’t solve it then the complaint will be referred to the court and issue a judgment to force the employer to pay your labor rights according to the law.
