We would like to inform you that The Emirates Identity Card must be renewed within 30 days of its expiry. In case of non-renewal, a delay fine of AED 20 per day and a maximum of AED 1000 per month will be charged.

After the expiry date of the ID card, the holder must apply for renewal and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship will send a notification via text message before the card expires.
