Hello, i have a friend who purchased property from developer with 5 years payment plan and moved in. He paid 30% on hand-over but for several reasons does not want to continue with the payment plan and wants to default the contract. How is this generally done? Thanks

If you mean that the value of the property has been paid 30% of the value of the property at the time of purchase and that the rest of the amount will be paid in monthly installments for a period of five years and until full fulfillment with the unwillingness to complete the duration of the contract first.
Therefore, if there is no reason for violation by the developer, we advise you to resort to the court and ask for the cancellation of the contract by filing a case on the reasons of the contract
