We would like to inform you that if your inquiry relates to the marriage of an Indian citizen to a Syrian citizen, the following information are important:

First: If the spouses are Muslims or at least the spouse is a Muslim:

It is possible to review the Shari'a court in Qatar in order to complete the marriage procedures and submit the following documents:

- Passport for husband and wife.

- A certificate of the social status of the husband and his wife issued from the embassies of their countries.

- Qatari residence.

- A certificate of medical examination for those who are about to marry.

- Non objection certificate issued by the Embassy.

If the spouses are non-Muslim, the marriage may be held at any embassy of their countries if they allow that with submission the same documents as above.
