We would like to inform you that if you are an expatriate in Kuwait and want to amend the last name in the passport because of divorce, you can file a lawsuit at the Court or review your embassy
you shall provide the certificate of divorce as well as proof of personal civil ID if the civil ID holds the name of the husband's family, and with the divorce you must modify the name where it must be matched all the data with the passport
We recommend that you check with the Embassy and inquire about all details of changing your last name

The same procedures that we mentioned above but remove the divorce documents, beside there shall be a legal reason to change the name. Note that these procedures shall be done in your homeland not in Kuwait, and the procedures are done by filing a lawsuit in the court to change the surname.
