We would like to inform you that in some cases, as stated in article 10 of the Criminal Procedure Law, the victim or his legal representative must submit a written or oral complaint for criminal proceedings. The complaint is not admissible three months after the victim was informed of the crime and its perpetrator, Unless the law otherwise provides. These include:

- theft, breach of trust, and concealment of proceeds from it, if the victim is the spouse of the offender, or of one of his assets or branches, and the proceeds were not confiscated judicially or administratively,

- Refusal to extradite a minor, or take the minor away from the custody of the minor

- Defamation, libel, and other crimes determined by law

In the above cases, the complaint will not be accepted after three months from the knowledge of the victim or the party that committed the crime, unless the law otherwise provides. If the perpetrator is caught, the complaint may be lodged with a member of the public authority who attends the crime scene and if the number of victims is multiple, it is sufficient to file a complaint from one of them to file the case. If the accused are numerous, the complaint against one of the defendants applies. If the victim is under 15 years of age or has an illness in his mind or the crime is against his money, Therefore, if the interests of the victim conflict with the interests of his representative, or he does not have his representative, the Public Prosecution shall represent him. The Public Prosecution shall carry out the investigation in Arabic. If the accused, litigants, witnesses or others who do not speak Arabic are considered decisive by the Prosecutor, the Attorney General may request assistance from an interpreter after his sworn oath.
