We would like to inform you that The Qatari Residence Law stipulates in the period of residence after its expiry:

Article 16

Foreigner who works in governmental companies is granted a permit to reside during the work period, and he has have valid passport. If his work finished then he has to leave Qatar during a week after the finish of the work, unless he has another residence permit.
