We would like to inform you that if you want to obtain a family visa and the ID card is not updated, you shall check with the General Directorate of Residence and submit an application to update your UAE ID. It is also possible that you need to review the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in order to update the ID card. But you shall check with the General Directorate of Residence first so that you could get the appropriate assistance.

 you can review the General Directorate of Residence in order to apply for a visa to bring the wife and children, with the following documents:

- Copy of passports
- Copy of birth certificates of children.
- Marriage contract.
- Copy of the contract of employment.
- Copy of the contract of accommodation.
- Copy of the UAE residence.
