• it happens because the body at night releasing hormons that counter the effect the insulin
• hormones like glucocorticoid or glucagon or growth hormones
• insulone resistanse will increase and extraction of glucose from cells to blood increase
• resulting in hyperglycemia

how can you deal with it

• Avoid carbohydrates at bedtime.
•  Adjust your dose insulin with your endocrinologist.
• Switch to a different insulin.
• Change the time when you take your medication or insulin from dinnertime to bedtime.
