We would like to inform you that Obtaining a permit to work in Switzerland depends on many factors, including your country of origin, skills and quotas approved by the authorities.

Switzerland provides a dual system to allow foreigners to work during their stay in Switzerland. The first relates to EU citizens and / or the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), those who are allowed to come and stay in Switzerland for three months to find work can be extended for six months during active job search with a short-term special permit issued by the authorities if you are registered with a regional employment center and have good chances of finding a job.

This permit can be extended for up to a year if you prove that you are actively looking for a job and that there is reason to believe that you have a real opportunity to find work during this period and you are entitled to a short-term residence permit, valid for six months, provided that you are registered with an employment center. To obtain a visa, you must go to the Swiss Embassy to apply for a work visa with the following documents:

- Valid passport

- Photograph

- Bank statement

- Employment contract certified by Switzerland and your country

- Certificate of no criminal record

- Payment of visa fees
