Hi, I have received a high resolution ultrasonography report of throws gland, but I can't seem to understand what's written inside. I'm so scared, I hope everything is alright.
Could you please tell me what the following measurements signify.
Right lobe AP Diameter 33.93mm N.up to 20 mm
Left lobe AP Diameter 28.90mm N.up to 20mm
Isthmus AP Diameter 15.98mm N. up to 5 mm
It also mentions that: Both thyroid lobes as well as isthmus are enlarged by the virtue of multiple variable sized partially circumscribed amalgamated nodules, the largest at the right side measures about 25.7 x 17.9mm, at the left side measures 20.4 x 15mm and at the isthmus measures 19.7 x 14 mm. They are either heterogeneous or isoechoic, shows cystic changes and display no definite hypoechoic halo, no or minimal internal vascularity and no internal calcifications.
