We would like to inform you that as you mentioned you have got new job and the employer asks for 1500 AED before cancelation, then according to the Labor Law it doesn’t state to force the worker to pay any amount to the employer for cancelation. However, if your contract was still valid and you agreed with the employer to end the contract and pay for that, if so, then there is no problem according to the agreement with the employer.
