We would like to inform you that If you go to Portugal on a visit visa and find work there you can transfer your stay from visit to work after the approval of the company or employer you worked with so that you apply to the Department of Residence and Immigration in Portugal attached to the application is a passport, a contract of employment and a letter of no objection from the company. Your residence will be converted into a work residence, but permanent residence will not be obtained until after 5 years.
