residential compounds,
hospitals,
malls,
banks,
hotels,
warehouses
and other locations,
 According to the legislation:
Business owners must imperatively have a control room and do operate surveillance 24 hours a day, every day of the week,
Recordings must be kept for 4 months, and cannot be altered before being handed over to competent government departments every single time it will be requested;
Still, Recording is totally prohibited in:
bedrooms,
patient rooms,
toilets,
changing rooms for women,
Those who violate the law could face up to 3 years of emprisonnement and fines of QR50,000,
as well as the suspension or cancellation of their business license.
