We would like to inform you that an indefinite employment contract means a contract that does not have an expiry date but ends if one of the parties makes a desire to terminate it provided that the other party is notified one month or two months in advance according to the period of service in accordance with Article 18 of the Qatari Labor Law.

As for getting a permit, kindly provide me with the type of permit you want. If you mean a work permit, so if you signed a contract regardless of whether it is a definite or indefinite, you may get a work permit and if the employer refuses to complete your recruitment procedures you shall complain at the Labor Office against him.

We would like to inform you that If you terminate your work contract illegally, you can only return after 3 years, but if your status is legal, there is no problem with returning to a new contract and this is confirmed by article 19 of the law regulating the entry and exit of Qatari foreigners
