Can I ask if I'm still married in Philippines but...

Can I ask if I'm still married in Philippines but we are already separated 3 years ago, then I converted to Muslim here in Qatar. Is that allow mam/sir that I can marry to Muslim man?

I just ask mam if this is legally allowed here in Qatar that I will marry to Muslim although I'm Muslim now but I'm still married in my christianity

We would like to inform you that according to the law of marriage in the State of Qatar and according to what you have mentioned your inquiry, Yes you may marry in the event of conversion to Islam, so it is possible to review the Shari'a court and know the requirements to complete the marriage, but in some cases you will be required ,with the presence of separation, to review the church and apply for divorce before it unless otherwise required by the court especially as a certificate is required to prove the social status of you, and here are the general requirements:
1- Valid passport of the spouses
2- Residence
3- Medical certificate which proves that you are free of diseases and the suitability for marriage.
4- NOC of the wife for marriage through the embassy of her country and apply there to issue the NOC.
5- The wife’s certificate of social status which proves that she has never been married before or, widow, divorced or single.
** With providing all these documents and the attendance of the wife’s guardian or his deputy, the attendance of two witnesses to complete the procedures of marriage deed. And then ratifying the marriage deed by the court and the legal representative of the court, and ratifying it through the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs and your embassies.
