Dear Customer,
Thanks for joining and trusting us, much appreciated!
We would like to inform you that when you get a green card, you confirm that you want permanent residence in the United States. Therefore, it is advised to stay in the United States as many days as possible. However, many permanent residents may need to spend most of their time in their country of origin for work, study, treatment, etc. In this case, you must obtain a re-entry permit (passport / white passport) before you leave the United States, after which you can stay outside America any time you need without considering that you gave up your green card
A number of circumstances may result in loss of permanent residence (Green Card) or Green Card:
• accepting overseas jobs;
• filing a tax return as a non-resident;
• staying outside the United States for more than one year without obtaining a re-entry permit (passport / white passport);
• Green card return.
If you have another question, feel free to ask us and we will answer with pleasure.
