Dear Doc,
I am currently facing chronic mouth ulcer and gastric pain on chest and stomach. And stomach keeps bloating always. These mouth ulcers are extremely painful and now the situation become worse as my upper lip swelling due to mouth ulcer in the inner side of upper lip. Also whenever i eat bit higher quantity than normal feeling heavy on the side of the chest. Also i am allergic to the dust since long time. Mouth ulcers also from long time. Due to allergy i feel very tired all the day like weight on the head. sinusitis

Treatmen of stomach pain and mouth ulcers:
It depends on the cause, and till the right diagnosis you can relief this pain by:
- Conservative management by avoid stress, get enough water daily, avoid salts, avoid smoking
- Take omeprazole 20 mg twice daily
- If there is H.pylori infection, you can take augmentin 500 mg three times daily and flagyl 500 mg three times daily
- For mouth ulcer, you can use nystatin oral gel 4-5 times daily, and you can use prednisone 10 mg twice daily for 10 days if there is no response
Causes of stomach pain and mouth ulcer:
It may be due to:
- Stress and anxiety
- H. pylori infection
- Smoking
- Gastritis
- Fungal infections
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease
- Bahcet disease
- Drinking too much caffiene...etc
Diagnosis of the cause of stomach pain and mouth ulcers:
You have to visist your doctor for clinical examination and investigations as:
- H.pylori
- Upper endoscope...etc
