We would like to inform you that The following diseases are the ones whose owner is prevented from obtaining UAE residence and identity and even returned to his country:

First: AIDS screening: This includes the necessary tests to detect the disease for all categories of expatriates for residency when the residency is granted for the first time or when it is renewed.

 Second: viral hepatitis screening: Type B tests for the following categories:

* Newcomers to the state to work for the first time.

* Renewal of residence for the categories of nannies, domestic servants and the like, supervisors of nursery and kindergartens are subject to the tests of type (b) and (c) of this disease for the following categories:

- Workers in barber and beauty salons and health clubs.

- Workers in health facilities and the decision stipulates that residency shall not be granted or renewed for positive cases from the said categories unless the purpose of the residency application is changed within a period not exceeding two weeks from the date of notification to the concerned person or his sponsor of the result of the examination and the vaccine shall be given to all negative cases of new arrivals from the above categories in three doses and shall be given a certificate proving this and when renewing their residency they must present the vaccination certificate for approval and exempt them from taking the vaccine. It is required to renew the residency in the absence of this certificate to take the vaccine.

Third: Pregnancy Screening Domestic workers such as maids, nannies, drivers, and the like are subject to pregnancy screening before issuing a disease-free certificate and In case of pregnancy, the sponsor has the option to allow her to work with him or not, after acknowledging in writing the result of the examination.

Fourth: Leprosy Screening: New arrivals are subject to examination and renewal of stay and there is no renewal of positive situations for all groups.

Fifth: Syphilis screening: Syphilis screening is limited to the same cases of viral hepatitis screening for newcomers to the country Or upon renewal of the stay provided that the necessary treatment for positive cases before giving them a certificate of health fitness

Sixth: Tuberculosis screening:

* All new arrivals to the State are subject to examination and Cases with old or active pulmonary tuberculosis are found to be inadequate and not granted residence.
