1 Day working hours

We would like to inform you that According to the Federal Labor Law, the maximum normal working hours for adult workers shall be eight hours per day or forty-eight hours per week and the working hours may be increased to nine hours a day in business, hotel, canteens, guarding, etc. The daily working hours may be reduced for work that is stressful or harmful to health by a ministerial decision. Normal working hours shall be reduced by two hours during Ramadan and the periods spent by the worker in moving between his place of residence and place of work shall not be counted as part of the working hours i the circumstances necessitate the employment of the worker on that day, he shall be compensated for another day of rest or to be paid the basic wage for the normal working hours, plus an increase of at least 50% of that wage.
