We would like to inform you that non-Muslim couples residing in the UAE may adopt a child during their stay in the country according to the laws of their country and country of the child. Their embassies in UAE determine whether parents are suitable to adopt a child before accreditation. The couple takes the necessary documents to the country of the child they wish to adopt, and to hire a lawyer or intermediary to help them find a child in the orphanage. This is followed by a petition to the court in that country to ratify the adoption and then to their embassy to legitimize the process.

Note that the process and requirements for adoption may vary from country to another, so it is better to check your country embassy in the UAE before applying to follow it up.
