We would like to inform you that regarding the amnesty for the overstayed in 2019, we would like to point out that the UAE government has granted the overstayed a grace period starting from 1 August 2018 and ended on 31 December 2018 in order to enable them to modify their status either to leave or modify the status of residence properly without paying fines or getting a ban stamp. Until today no new amnesty has been issued in this regard and you may follow the official website of the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners' Affairs to check the latest updates in this regard.

As for your employer's delay in payment of your monthly salary and withholding the residence procedures, you may file a complaint against him at the Labor Office through:
