We would like to inform you that you may obtain a Qatari license without taking a test by transferring the UAE driving license to the Qatari one and you shall be a UAE citizen. The driving license issued by the GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait) is replaced in the State of Qatar provided that the license holder is a citizen of the same country. You may apply for the transfer of the license at the General Directorate of Traffic in Qatar, accompanied by proof of your ID and the UAE driving license and its copy.
