We would like to inform you that if you are a resident of India, you may obtain a birth certificate through the Department of Civil Status, but if you are a resident out of India and you want to get a birth certificate you should go to the Embassy of your country and go to the Civil Transactions Department and apply for a copy of the birth certificate, so they will help you.
