Documents required to obtain a Slovenian tourist visa:

There are general documents asking all persons wishing to obtain a Schengen Visa Slovenia, and these documents ask everyone without exception regardless of their professional status.

There are special documents that require certain persons according to their professional status.

1_ General documents required in the visa Slovenia tourism:

Fill in the Schengen Visa Slovenia form (download here);

Two recent photographs that meet the Schengen visa requirements;

Passport valid for at least 3 months after return from travel;

Copies of previous visas if the person has previously traveled on this passport;

This passport must contain at least two blank pages;

Book a plane ticket back and forth;

Book a hotel or provide an invitation letter for people who will visit their friends or acquaintances;

Medical insurance covering 30,000 Euros for the duration of travel (to understand the 30,000 Euros can be consulted here);

A letter stating the purpose of traveling to Slovenia (what are you going to do there?

Applicant's civil status (married, single, children…)

Bank statement for the last 6 months showing a person's ability to spend on himself for the duration of travel;

Payment of the visa fee, which is in the range of 60 euros for people over 12 years or 35 euros for children between 6 and 11 years and free of charge for those under the age of six.

2_ Special documents required in the visa Slovenia:

2_ For workers in the private sector:

3_ For students:

School certificate for pupils or registration at the university

Letter of approval from school or university

A letter of sponsorship from a person who undertakes to bear the travel expenses of the student or student

Proof of financial ability to bear travel expenses through bank statement for the last 6 months

Proof of ownership (property, car…)

What happens after I apply?

After the application is made, the decision will be made within 15 calendar days from the date of submission.

In special cases, especially when further review is needed the decision may be delayed to 30 days.

The maximum decision may be taken in 60 days and then if the reply does not arrive, the visa application is automatically rejected

When a visa is granted, it is placed in the passport in the form of a poster.
