We would like to inform you that if you are a resident in Qatar and are interested in obtaining a US visa for the purposes of visiting or tourism, it is not a visa requirement that you have the language and you can apply and the following:
B-1 / B-2 visit visa for persons traveling to the United States temporarily for business (B-1) or for entertainment or medical treatment (B-2). In general, a B-1 visa is for travelers who consult with business partners to attend an educational, scientific, professional or business forum, to settle property or to negotiate a contract. The B-2 visa is for travel for recreation in nature, including tourism, visits with friends or relatives, medical treatment and activities of an amicable, social or service nature. B-1 and B-2 visas are usually collected and issued as a single visa: B-1 / B-2.
If you are applying for a B-1 / B-2 visa, you must convince the consular officer that you are eligible for a US visa in accordance with the United States Immigration and Nationality Act. Section 214 (b) of the Immigration and Nationality Act assumes that each B-1 / B-2 applicant is an expected migrant. You must overcome this legal assumption by showing:

How to progress
Step 1:
Complete the application form for a non-immigrant visa (DS-160).
Step 2:
Pay the visa application fee.
Step 3:
Schedule an appointment on this web page. There are three information you need to schedule your appointment:
• Your passport number
• CGI reference number of your visa fee receipt. (Click here if you want to find the number.)
• The 10 digit bar code number from your DS-160 Form Confirmation page.
Step 4:
Visit the US Embassy at the date and time of your visa interview. You must bring a hard copy of the letter of appointment, the confirmation page of the DS-160 form, a personal photograph taken during the previous six months, the current passport and all the old passports. Orders that do not have all of these items will not be accepted.

Consular officials consider each application individually and take into account occupational, social, cultural and other factors during judgment. Consular officials may also consider certain specific intentions, plans and long-term aspirations within your country of residence.
