We would like to inform you that referring to the UAE Tenancy Law and according to the emirate where you reside, the landlord may not cut off electricity and is obliged to undertake all repairs in the property. If the law provides that the landlord shall hand over the property with the tenant ability to use the property, so you may file a complaint against the landlord at the police station. Also you may resort to the municipal court to submit the application with the required documents in the customer service office in the Rental Dispute Center
Fill out the complaint form at the Customer Service Desk
Pay the fees at the financial counter and get a receipt
Receive the date of the first hearing of the case
Required Documents: Original Rental Dispute Center application, original petition with two copies, a copy of the lease contract, a copy of the passport, a trade license (in case the parties are business and not individuals), and the main commissioner (if the applicant represents another party)
