We would like to inform you that if you want to apply for a visit visa for your son you should know that there are two types of visa:

Short-term visa (30 days)

Long-term visa (90 days)

Nowadays, you may extend all types of visas for an additional month without leaving the country by paying 570 AED for every visa before the expiration of the original visa.

As for the procedures of obtaining the visa, it is to submit an application at the General Directorate of Residence for Foreigners' Affairs along with the following documents:

Passport copies of you and your son.

Your son's photographs with a white background

A valid work visa for the sponsor

Your salary certificate

Salary certificate from the employer showing the minimum monthly salary required in the concerned Emirate

Notarized lease

Last  bill for water and electricity
