We would like to inform you that if the names do not match the name of your spouse, you can apply to correct the names on your child's birth certificate and official documents by submitting an application to the Civil Status Department in your country or at the Civil Transactions Section of your Embassy.
Your application will be submitted to the relevant committee of the Civil Status Department or the Civil Transactions Section regarding a change or correction of civil status restrictions.
It is a matter of discretion to approve or disagree with the change. In case your application is rejected, you must file a lawsuit before the administrative court in your country to change the name, stamp the legal representative of the Civil Status Department and the Minister of Interior and obtain a judgment to correct the names.
