We would like to inform you that according to the law 21 of 2015 related with the entry of the expats, the expat can stay in the country if the visa was cancelled for 90 days after the cancellation according to article 36.
The one who can cancel the visa and ID is the employer, and you can leave the country without cancelling the visa, but you will face problem if you want to return to Qatar as you can’t get new visa unless you cancelled the old one.
So you have to contact the employer and settle the situation to cancel the visa.
