We would like to inform you that the Nationality Law specifies the conditions and conditions that one of them must have in order to obtain Egyptian citizenship for a foreigner, as follows:
_ Everyone who is born in Egypt is a father of Egyptian origin, provided that he lives in Egypt
_ Each belonging to the Egyptian origin, provided that they stay 5 years in Egypt
_ Everyone who has resided in Egypt for ten consecutive years prior to the application for naturalization
_ Every foreigner born in Egypt to a foreign father also born in Egypt on the condition of belonging to the majority state
Its population is Arabic or its religion is Islam, and naturalization must be requested within one year of reaching the age of 21 years
Every foreigner who was born and resided in Egypt normally, provided that:
1_ good reputation and behavior and lack of previous judgment
2_ sanity and structure
3_ that have a means of earning
The Egyptian Nationality Law stipulates that:
Article 4
The Egyptian nationality may be granted by a decision of the Minister of Interior:
First: Anyone born in Egypt to a father of Egyptian origin when applying for naturalization in the Egyptian nationality after making his normal residence in Egypt and was an adult at the time of application.
Second: Anyone belonging to the Egyptian origin when applying for naturalization in the Egyptian nationality five years after making his normal residence in Egypt and was extremely mature at the time of application.
Third: Every foreigner born in Egypt to a foreign father who was also born therein, if this foreigner belongs to the majority of the population in a country whose Arabic language or religion is Islam, when applying for naturalization within one year from the date of reaching the age of majority.
Fourth: Every foreigner born in Egypt and his normal residence in Egypt upon reaching the age of majority, when requested within one year of reaching the age of majority, naturalization in the Egyptian nationality and met the following conditions:
To have a healthy mind without a disability that makes it dependent on society.
2. He shall be of good conduct and reputable and shall not have been convicted of a criminal offense or a restrictive penalty of liberty for a crime against honor unless he has been rehabilitated.
3. Have a legitimate means of earning.
Fifth: Every foreigner shall make his normal stay in Egypt for at least ten consecutive years prior to submitting the application for naturalization when he is very mature and meets the conditions set forth in clause (fourth).
Article 5
By decision by the President of the Republic, Egyptian nationality may be granted without limitation to the conditions set forth in the preceding article of this law to any foreigner who performs great services to Egypt, as well as to the heads of the Egyptian religious communities.
