Hi, my renewal is due in September and we initiated negotiations with the agent 2 months prior. With much difficulty he has come down to reduce the rent as per the market rate however wanting to charge a renewal fee of 2500 aed as commission. Pls suggest.

Yes, even when we took the flat last year they didn't get the full maintenance done and we had to receive the flat with cracked floor tiles in the kitchen even. The agent hasn't been much supportive past a year.
