We would like you to know that if your inquiry regarding accusing your girlfriend who works as a domestic worker for stealing a necklace, your friend will have to submit evidence in order to deny that charge, such as:

 - Working for a long time with the employer before, and that there isn't any previous charges of theft.

 - The existence of previous problems between the employer and domestic worker and provide evidence of this.

 - Hiring a lawyer to legally defend your friend.

Also, the penalty is imprisonment if the judge was convinced that your friend has commites the crime of theft.

Here is the text of the UAE Penal Code regarding your inquiry:

Article (390)
Whoever commits an act of theft to which none of the conditions mentioned in the preceding Articles of this Chapter is applicable shall be punished by detention for at least six months, and by a fine .
