Dear Customer,
Thanks for joining and trusting us, much appreciated!
The Judicial Department of the UAE is the official body responsible for issuing marriage certificates. Muslims can perform marriage ceremonies within the Judicial Department. Non-Muslims can also complete marriage procedures in the church or embassy concerned for both parties.
The required documents are:
- Birth Certificates (Original).
- Passport and valid residence copy.
- A certificate of proof of the marital status of the parties (single, married, divorced) certified (if outside the country) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the applicant and the UAE Consulate in that country (if in the country) by the applicant consulate and the UAE Foreign Ministry.
- Certificate of healthy fitness for marriage

Dear Customer,
Thanks for joining and trusting us, much appreciated!
We would like to inform you that If you are a Muslim and want to marry a Christian girl, you can do Islamic marriage according to the procedures mentioned above so that the provisions of the legal marriage contract apply to the Muslim, whether a citizen or a resident regardless of nationality, which means that the legal contract applies:
- In case the parties were Muslims
- In case the groom is a Muslim and the bride is from the people of the book, for example a Christian
It is permissible by law for a Muslim man to marry a non-Muslim woman and a Muslim woman may not marry a non-Muslim without proof of his Islam.
If you have another question, feel free to ask us and we will answer with pleasure.
