We would like to inform you that according to the Qatari residence law, the original is that the renewal of the visa shall be done at least three days before the expiry of the visa.
However, if the visa is valid for the last day and it falls on an official holiday, the visa can be extended the next day immediately.
A visa extension can also be submitted electronically through the MOI website, if the visa is extendable.
The service can be completed through Matrash 2 and self-service devices of the Ministry of Interior Embassy staff and authorized users can also apply for an extension on behalf of passengers.
Access the Ministry of Interior website and submit the application online: http://www.moi.gov.qa
-          Login on the Ministry of Interior website and submit the application electronically via 
-          Log in with smart card.
-          Selection of the required authority (personal to the transactions of the cardholder, or the name of the company authorized to carry out transactions).
-          Click on "Visas" and choose "Renewal of visas".
-          Enter valid visa data through the Visa Data page.
-          Enter the 12-digit visa number in the "Visa number" box and press "Ask" to view the visa data you have entered and the renewal fees.
-          Repeat the previous step, to add other visas, if any, up to a maximum of five visas at a time.
-          Press "Delete" if you want to delete a visa from the entered visa.
-          Press "Next" to review visa renewal information and the total amount of fees assessed on the selected visas.
-          Click on "Visa Renewal" to go to the bank screen to pay the prescribed fees.
-          Press "New Entry" and repeat the previous steps to inquire about other visas.

-          Valid visa renewal fee 200 QR.
