what is the normal weight for a 1 month old baby ?
- in the 1st 3 months of life the baby should gain 100-150 grams weekly but he will loose weigt in the 1st 2 weeks of life ( baby loose 10% in his body weight in the 1st 2 weeks of his life ) and then he will start to put on weight after 2 weeks by the range of 100-150 grams per week
- if the baby is born with 3000 grams then he will be loosing 10% of his weight in the 1st 2 weks of his life ( 2700 grams ) then he will gain about 300 grams in the 2nd two weeks of his life so he should have a weight of 3000 grams jusl like his birth weight
