Treatment of genital itching:

It depends on the cause, and till thr right diagnosis you can use the following treatment:

• Miconazole cream twice daily
• Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice daily for 5 days
• Flagyl 500 mg three times daily for 5 days
• Dektazole supp once daily before sleep for 3 days

Causes of genital itching:

It may be due to:

• Vaginal infection which associated with discharge, bad odor. burning sensation
• Vaginal ulcer
• Urine tract infection
• Allergy...etc

Diagnosis of the cause of genital itching:

It depends on the clinical examination of a gynacologist and investigations as:
Urine analysis
PAP smear
Abdomen and pelvis US...etc

What i advise you?

Till the right diagnosis, you can start with the above mentioned medications and you have to drink good amount of water and avoid salts.
