  Subclass 400 temporary visa for work (short stay):

This visa will allow the holder to enter Australia temporarily so that the holder can work in the job required for a specified period of time.

This visa is suitable for people who want to come to Australia for a short period and to participate in any activity that falls within their competence as follows:

- undertake short-term, highly specialised, non-ongoing work

- in limited circumstances, participate in an activity or work relating to Australia’s interests.

Temporary 403 Visa for Employment (Global Relations):

This visa is granted to persons who want a temporary visa and hold a consent document or a website from their government or to be the same persons representing a government or a specific person or to teach a foreign language in Australian schools.

It is also granted to full-time workers in the office or home of diplomats or employees who participate in seasonal work programs, ie:

- in relation to a bilateral agreement

- to represent a foreign government or to teach a foreign language in an Australian school

- to undertake full-time domestic work for a diplomat

- as a person with statutory privileges and immunities

- to participate in the Seasonal Worker Programme.
