We would like to inform you that the dimensions specified for the size of the baggage recorded through the exit ports must not exceed 158 centimeters or 62 inches. This size includes cricket rackets, badminton rackets and a karmic board.

Any baggage exceeding this size in Oman Air can be admitted to the Special / Large Luggage Port or through the shipping unit. Sports equipment bags are subject to additional load according to the size and dimensions of each equipment.

What are the restrictions applicable to luggage weight?

Guests traveling on Economy Class 017 are entitled to a 30 kg baggage allowance for their luggage at the check-in counter without restrictions on the number of travel bags with a total weight of 30 kg (40 kg and 50 kg for guests traveling on business class and first class respectively) therefore they are entitled to increase the total weight by paying an additional fee per kilo.

Guests traveling on Economy Class who have booked the tickets from January 9, 2017 will be entitled to one piece of travel baggage on the check-in counter at a weight not exceeding 30 kg.

Guests traveling on Business Class and First Class will receive one additional piece of luggage weighing up to 20 kg.

All additional travel baggage, unless otherwise stated, must not exceed 20 kg.

Any additional parts exceeding that limit will be considered as additional weight that can be purchased from the airport, via Omanair.com, Oman Air Contact Center, local ticketing offices and authorized travel agents prior to travel to ensure shipment of baggage.
