Still, the only possibilty when the sponsor can cancel your permit without the original passport if for the Out of country Absentee Permit (for more than 6 months)

Required documents :

    Fill in the proper form with the signature of the sponsor.

    Recent school certificate or a medical report notarized by educational or health authorities and the Kuwait Embassy in the country where he reside; all mentioned documents notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    Passport copy of the permit applicant.

    (2) Photographs (blue background).

    Original passport copy of the foreigner sponsor.

    Civil ID copy of the sponsor.
