We would like to inform you that the lease expires at the end of its term and the lessor may not terminate the rental relationship before this period, unless the tenant commits a violation of the provisions of the Bahrain Lease Law, therefore, you have to go to the Committee of Rental Disputes and provide a complaint against the lessor and the necessary action will be taken against him in addition to compensate you for the damage caused to you.
Article (40) of the Bahrain Lease Law:
One or more committees shall be established in the Ministry, which shall be responsible for the prompt decisions of the following:
1) Claims and disputes arising from the leases of real estate subject to the provisions of this law.
2) Lawsuits and disputes stipulated in Articles (6) and (7) of Article (8) and Article (8 - repeated) of the Civil and Commercial Procedures Law.
3) Request for the taking of precautionary and temporary measures related to the cases and disputes mentioned.

Thanks but that’s not what I meant I meant if there has been no breech in the contract can the landlord terminate the lease even if the tenant wants to stay and renew the contract? According to Bahrain law isn’t there a law that says landlords are not allowed to do that unless a 3 year period has passed for residential properties?

We would like you to know that the law was clear in this regard and confirmed that the contract expires at the end of its term and therefore if the lessor has driven you out of the house before the expiry of the contract, this is considered a breach of the law you and you should file a complaint at the committee of rental dispute.

Okay but what if the contract has expired and me as a tenant do not want to leave the apartment after the one year expirey Do I have the right to stay in the apartment two more years?

Welcome again!
If the contract does not stipulate that it is automatically renewed, you will be obliged to vacate the house on the day that the contract expires and you may not continue to live in the house because the owner of the house will get you out from the house through the judiciary.
