We would like to inform you that if you were married previously who with Australian man and you reside in Australia and are divorced, and you want to file a claim for alimony or what is known as support and care for him, then yes can be sued in his home, but you need to seek the help of a lawyer.
The case shall be attached with the below:
* The previous marriage contract notarized.
* The certificate of divorce and certified by the Australian Embassy.
* the birth certificate of the child and birth notification.
*copy of passports for the possibility to get the proper support according to the court judgment.

Thank you so much for your help. 1. At marriage time we were Indian citizens, after marriage he (my husband) got Australian citizenship, and I got Australian PR. But I’m still Indian citizen.2. In 2016 we got married.3. After marriage I went to Australia and was there for 6 months.4. Again in 2018 I went to Australia, got pregnant, was there for 5 months and came back to India. 5. The reason why I came back to India is my husband was mentally torturing me. Sometimes he used to come home late and sometimes he won’t come home for 2 days.6. He used to say that I won’t have any right to ask him where are you and why are you not coming home.7. As I was pregnant, my health was not good, and there were no one to take care of me. So I came back to India for delivery. 8. Itseems like my husband is planning for second marriage so he divorced me.9. Now I’m in India. I have Australian PR. 10. I want my child maintenance and spouse maintenance, I’m planning to go to Australia for this legal proceedings.11. I don’t have any relatives in Australia except few friends. They are encouraging me to come there to Australia and legally file a case for maintenance.In the month of June 2019 he sent divorced papers. “SINGLE TALAQ-E-BAYEN”He said he don’t want this relationship.Please help me, Please guide me, what should I do.Thank you so much for your help.
