If the company decides to cancel the worker's residence visa, it must first refer to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation to cancel the work contract and the employee's work card. After the cancellation through the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the employer submits the application for cancellation of the residence visa. After the cancellation, the worker is granted a 30-day grace period either to leave the country or to obtain the visa on another residence visa, and there are no fines during the grace period.
