ovulation : is the process of ovarian follice explosion outside the ovaries and this happened in females with normal menstrual period at day 14 till day 21
what are the clinical signs and investigation to Document ovulation:
- basal body tempreture: At time of ovulation there reduction of temp by 0.3 C then rise by 0.5 degree after day 21 due to progesterone
- Luteal phase progesterone between day 21 to 28 day cycle , >15 ng/ml consistent with ovulation
- LH surge : LH increases 24 hours before ovulation
- Endometrial Biopsy to detect the progestoron effect on uterine linning
