We would like to inform you that absconding from the employer is one of the biggest mistakes and irregularities in which the expatriate worker does in Qatar, which may expose him to circulation and stop him for violating the Residence Laws and obliging him to compensate the employer for leaving the unjustified work.
In order to solve this, the worker has to reconcile with the employer to waive the absconding report and complete the rest of the contract.
As according to the Residence Law, an expat who has been authorized to enter or reside for a specific purpose or work in a particular entity, must not violate the purpose for which he has been authorized, and must leave the country within 90 days after the expiry of that purpose or work, or in the case of abolition of residence for any reason.
