We would like to inform you that you can go to the labor office and ask for NOC to transfer the visa to work in other place according to your visa instead of housemaid.
For the passport you have to know the below:
according to the local and international laws, the passport is deemed to the property of the issuing State. Accordingly, the employer shall not withdraw it from the worker or reserve it and refuse to give it. If the employer do such work, he may be subject to legal issues
He have no right to detain and prevent the worker's passport, since the Qatari Labor Law does not provide for holding the worker's passport as a form of guaranteeing the rights of the sponsor, but it set up the relationship between the parties and set the rights and duties and did not give the sponsor this right, which is a statement that the worker can file a complaint against the employer when he doing so
