Lawyer's Assistant: Where are you located? It matters because laws vary by location
Im miraflor quimada 36 yrs. Old. Im working as a company cleaner, i came here direct because i worked in abu dhabi before. I ask my employer if i can have a copy of my passport and he told me to get it in tasheel.. my problem is i dont have time because of work timing from 8am-8pm how can i have it. Im here in al in now

We would like to inform you that referring to the UAE Federal Labor Law, Article 35 states:
Subject to the provisions of Article 2, an employment contract shall be written in duplicate, with one copy to be delivered to the worker and the other to the employer. In the absence of written contract, adequate proof of its terms may be established by all admissible means of evidence.
Therefore, you can complain to the labor office that the employer is not giving you a copy of the contract
